The manage page

This page allows you to manage the nodes in the cluster.

Nodes

This tab shows:
- Which nodes are offline (Down)
- The hostname, IP address and MAC address of the compute nodes (Nodes)
- The hostname, IP address and MAC address of the login nodes (Logins)
- The hostname, IP address and MAC address of other devices which require an IP address added to the cluster e.g. switches and storage servers. (Others)

This tab allows you to remove nodes from the cluster.
You can view detailed information about a node and change its configuration by clicking on the "details" link.

Candidates

This tab allows you to add candidates to the cluster or remove them.
Candidates receive a hostname composed of the term "Candi" and a number.
You should change the hostname before adding it to the cluster.
The MAC address can be used to identify the machine.
You can choose to add a candidate as "Node" (Compute node), "Login" or "Other".
"Other" designates machines and devices that require an IP address from the cluster in order to function properly but will not be installed by the cluster. This includes Switches and Storage servers.

Add node

This tab allows you to manually add a node to the cluster and bypass the candidate system.
You have to specify a hostname, MAC address and node type.
The IP address can be specified or when left out the next free address is assigned.
